This notice explains what personal information Leocor (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our website, why we collect it, and what rights you have under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
- Information you enter in the contact form: name, phone, email, suburb and your message.
- Basic technical information your browser sends: IP address, user-agent, the page you came from.
- Server access logs (kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse investigation).
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, quote your job, schedule a visit and stay in touch about that job. We do not sell or share your details with third parties for marketing.
How we protect it
- The site is served exclusively over HTTPS with modern TLS.
- The contact form is protected with CAPTCHA, rate limiting and bot traps.
- Enquiries are emailed to a single inbox controlled by the business owner.
- The server runs on hardened Debian Linux with automatic security updates.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we’re likely to need them for the job and any follow-up — usually no more than 24 months. Access logs are rotated after 30 days.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email TODO_EMAIL and we’ll action it within a reasonable time.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies. The contact form’s CAPTCHA provider (hCaptcha) sets a session cookie when you complete the challenge.
